Exam Overview
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will conduct the BPSC TRE 3.0 Exam to recruit candidates for primary, middle school, secondary, and senior secondary teachers. The exam is scheduled for 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd July 2024. Understanding subject-wise weightage through detailed exam patterns will make it easier for candidates to prepare a good study plan focusing on topics with high weightage.

Primary Teacher (PRT) Syllabus
Section 1: Language (Compulsory)
Candidates are required to score a minimum of 30% marks in this section. There is no negative marking.
Section 2: General Studies
This section will consist of Elementary Mathematics, Mental Ability tests, General Awareness, General Science, Social Science, Indian National Movements, Geography, and Environment.
The questions asked will be according to the prescribed minimum qualification of the candidate.
Secondary Teacher (TGT) Syllabus
Section 1: Language (Compulsory)
Candidates are required to score a minimum of 30% marks in this section. There is no negative marking.
Section 2: General Studies
This section will consist of Elementary Mathematics, General Awareness, General Science, Indian National Movements, and Geography. The questions asked will be according to the prescribed minimum qualification of the candidate.
There will be 150 MCQs in the Bihar Secondary Teacher examination and it will be conducted for a total of 150 marks including questions from different subjects.
Higher Secondary Teacher (PGT) Syllabus
Section 1: Language (Compulsory)
Candidates are required to score a minimum of 30% marks in this section. There is no negative marking.
Section 2: General Studies
This section will consist of Elementary Mathematics, General Awareness, General Science, Indian National Movements, and Geography.
Section 3: Subject Paper
Candidates have to select any one subject from the following list:
